Well, it's been a while since my last post but I'm in the mood to blog again.
I still am busy but I think life is going to give me a breather here for a month or two.
We have had lots of fun things these last couple weeks. From Dads softball games to the oldest having 2 sweet 16 parties to the church's fun volunteer appreciation party at the river. Last weekend our second oldest even got to go camping all weekend with some friends and on Memorial Day we had a blast playing water balloon war.
I for one this morning am super sore from a tough personal training workout. That's what happens when you make friends with the trainer and then miss her class...oops. Actually, it was a pretty tough workout but great..and super nice of her to work me out since I missed the class:) I'm really enjoying the YMCA. We've bee going Monday through Friday.
So....I found a lump. Yes~in the place where you don't want to find one but I really don't think it is anything. I'm sure it is nothing. I went to the Doctor just to be sure and she seemed slightly concerned so next week I am having my first mammogram and then an ultrasound on my breast. I'm sure they are just going to say yep...you have...lumpy boobs, lol..that's all:) My only concern....is that I'm not too concerned. I have a friend that seems to be very concerned and wants to know if I have anyone coming with me...super sweet. Her hubby is a doctor and she has first hand experience in this stuff so she knows the scariness of it all. I just told her it will be fine (b/c it will) and thanks. She's sweet though with her concerns. I was thinking...On the off chance that it IS something (which it is NOT) I hope I use whatever God puts in front of me...be it in homeschooling...raising kids...long lines at the store..or even breast cancer...I pray I am use as a vessel. I know God has given me strength through so much in my life already and if this is another thing he chooses to do then he will yet again give me the strength to fight b/c I am a fighter:) But like I said I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong.
I'm so glad Grams and Pa are back home again! Grandma is one of my closest friends and I missed not being able to just say "hey!" on my way out the door or have a cup of coffee while we enjoy the morning sun. I dearly love the lady:)
Well, with that said maybe she's up ... I don't have to be at the Y until a little later this morning.
Unwind moment...Taking a walk with a loved one is a wonderful way to unwind. One of my favorites!
