July is one of my FAVORITE months! Today is July 1st and I think it is high time I get back to writing. I think I'm getting a bit rusty.
Why do I like this time of year so much? Well, for starters it is summer time. July is usually a good time in the summer...a time when you've gotten into the summer vibe:)It's not TOO unbearably hot and your not yet bored. The kids are back from their summer camps and dad will soon have his week off for some family fun. Starting to understand yet? On top of that we have a wonderful celebration of this country's birth of independence AND my birthday:) July is a great month...especially the first couple weeks.
I would love to stop saying how crazy busy I am....I can't. I'm still busy. It is a good busy (if there is such a thing). Here is what we have been doing:
*a couple weeks ago we started building a gi-normous back deck (still in process)
*Last weekend we laid sod in the front and side yards and planted all the landscaping plants. This week the kids and I have been putting the rock and mulch down around the plants.
*I'm in the process of ordering and researching material for the upcoming school year which I plan to start in July this year.
*Today I'm driving 2 hours one way to pick up one of my oldest best friends so she can stay for 5 nights or so. I will be busy with them to make it fun. We have already tried to plan a get-together for her to see old co-op friends tomorrow.
many other things on my long list of things....those are just a few....
I just read a friends blog that made me laugh. She said she was crazy insane busy and would love to admitted. she said maybe if the kids saw her eating chalk in the corner that they'd think about folding their own laundry and helping out a little more. HA! That picture in my head makes me laugh:)
My love of photography has been halted. Not the love but the time to do it. Soon I will post pictures of my beautiful new yard soon...it is so much better than a big sand pit full of stickers! I did take school pictures this year...they were late but hey I took them...but never printed them:( So I posted a few here for you to see~
Well, Looks like I've been side tracked yet again. I'll write again soon. Next time it won't be so b o r i n g ~
