Wisdom and stress

What do you do when you're under stress?  Do you head for the food?
Do you try to talk it out with a trusted friend?
I am under some stress.  My head won't stop pounding (my usually sign of stress over load).
My stomach is in knots and I am super thirsty.
That last one is an odd one, I know:)
I can't focus on very much at all and I'm sooo tired.
What do I do under stress?
First, I try with all my might to think of Jesus and his blessings.
I then will talk my thoughts through with my trusted special people, you know who y'all are.
Then prayer to refocus and God's word because there's wisdom in them.
Sometimes food...I will admit but this time I'm trying not to:)
The hard thing is...I know the end result of what will come
about the thing I'm stressing about.
That's pretty vague I know...sorry~
And the end result isn't good...no action is not good either.
So, the choice is between to negatives.
How's that for some fun times?
I'm super exhausted today.  This situation has me drained.
I'm trying my best to school the kids in core subjects only but
my mind is somewhere else today.  Soon will be lunch and quiet time.
A much needed time for me to clean, prepare dinner, and focus on my heavenly father.

How do I fell when I've done all I can and it's not enough to help someone in need?
Sad:( and desperate for God's wisdom.
I've been asking God for encouragement.  The most I've gotten has been after my heart made the choice between to negatives.  My encouragement was this:

Ezekiel 3:18-19
If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.
A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to his soul.

2 Timothy 1:7
for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Galations 6:8
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Jeremiah 5:25
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

“A sign of wisdom and maturity is when you come to terms with the realization that your decisions cause your rewards and consequences. You are responsible for your life, and your ultimate success depends on the choices you make.”
Denis Waitley

“Freedom is the will to be responsible to ourselves”
Friedrich Nietzsche

“Action springs not from thought, but from a readiness for responsibility.”Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”
Abraham Lincoln

“Peak performance begins with your taking complete responsibility for your life and everything that happens to you.”
Brian Tracy

This is all I have today.  My heart is encouraged by God's love to show His wise words yet heavy for what I know is to come.

Unwind...when in need for encouragement,
search the word of God...you can't go wrong.

One last thing....This one is really good!
"The best predictor of the future is the past without change."
