Homeschooling through High school!
Yep, I'm doing it...I'm homeschooling through high school. Before I got my plan together, the task of this journey seemed more than I could handle. I surely needed guidance from above.
I thought through my own ideas of what needed to be done and made a plan...2 weeks into the plan, although running smoothly, God was jerking on my heart gently. Now I have a long term plan for my oldest, who knows if it will be the same for the others, and I feel at peace...truly at peace. Here it is.
*Penn Foster is going to be her core schooling. They will actually issue a diploma.
*Dual Credit classes. Basically, she will be taking Junior college classes earning college credits. This will look great on her transcript! She hopes to earn 2 years worth of college credits:)
*Co-op Science Lab classes. These are very good lab courses that will be good prep for college. Also, any other Co-op courses can count but I'm not counting on them.
* Home school from Mom. I believe Penn Foster is a bit too easy so I will require her to do more things. Things such as Foreign language, higher math and sciences and so on. She might need some easy work if a heavy college load come her way...I will be flexible.
She will continue to sing and dance at church. Volunteer where ever she can and soon be getting a job. She is starting track in the Spring.
May God bless her last few years in our home living as a minor. I pray I can make it as fun as possible:)
