SWEET SIXTEEN PARTY!

What were you doing on your Sixteenth Birthday?
I really can’t remember.

All I know is that my Hannah deserved to have
the best I could mustard up.

I will have to say...I had bigger ideas in my head
but since life does run it’s course and sometimes gets
ahead of me I did the best with what I had.
Let me add that I had a lot of help.
Todd took off the day of the party to retrieved and set up the tables.
He also hung the colored lights, did some light shopping,
and he IS the king of the grill.
Grandma helped in a huge way by doing whatever was needed.
All I had to do was point and ask and she was there...
Isn't that a blessing?
Levi helped in a HUGE way! doing TONS...too many to mention.
My sister came and jumped in where needed as well.
She did great on the photo area.
Since I have a driver now:)
Hannah was able to drive a get some last  minute items.
Like I said I had a lot of help!
I guess that is what FAMILY IS ALL ABOUT!
The awesome part...They were just here.
They didn't expect anything from me...they figured I might need
a helping hand and wanted to extend their hand.
Don't you love that?

Table Decor: Let me just it say they rocked!
It was clean, sweet, sparkled, glowed, and was a little country!
Totally worked for Hannah.
The main element was the mason jars in the middle.
Various sizes with votive candles.  A couple had ribbon around the rim
but not all so not to go over board.
Then we had sparkly confetti, confetti that had Hannah’s name on it,
tons of Glow stick neckless, and candy...
3 of Hannah’s favorites.

I was super-de-duper happy with the lighting.
We hung our big LED white Christmas lights under the smokehouse
where there was a table,
we also hung our big LED colored Christmas lights
from tree to tree to create a canopy of lights over the deck.

I bought bags for our candle bags (dollar tree 12 for $1).
They were white with hearts on them,
since we are so close to valentines...It worked out.
We live on sand so I used what we had in the back yard to
fill the bags about 2 inches and
then placed a tea light candle in each.
STOP....
I didn’t do any of the work, just the shopping.
Thanks to Grandma and Levi the job got done:)
Next, with the left over mason jars,
I tied twine around the rim and hung them
in the trees in the back part of the yard.

THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL!
One of my favorite things.

And Yet again I must stop and give credit to
My sister Debbie and Levi as they worked on tying and hanging!
It looked like fireflies when it was dark out there and
when it was still light it took on a clean, country home feel.

Of course one big light was the bon fire
and the fireplace which brought warmth.
Lastly on lighting, after we sang Happy birthday,
Todd was ready in the back yard (sneaky)
and right at the end he let fireworks off.
They were a little delayed between each one
but it was impressive none the less.

Cake table
Lit up by mason jar candles
Cupcake tower
When we sang there was a cheese cake with the #16
in SPARKLERS:)
(found those at Party city btw for the moms out there)
Right after we sang happy birthday....
Fireworks!
Just a few but it was neat anyways.

Kainah and some of the party guest.

I thought this was pretty cool.
Hannah ended up sitting under here.

Friends

 More friends

More friends...oh look here, my pretty hannah popped in this picture:)

We set up a picture area in the front room.
So she made sure she got a picture with just about everyone before they left:)

 Hannah, Hannah. and Kainah

She's got some really neat friends

 SHE LOVES HER BROTHER...

 pictures do it no justice!
Bag candles lined the pool, down the deck steps, and a path to the bon fire.
Mason jars with a candle hung in the trees and a warmth fire glowed in the back ground.

The food was delish!

 Hannah and friends chowin down.

 "Pin Head"
We played a few minute to win it games for some change in the party:)
They were fun.

 Sisters! Beautiful!

Again, the pictures do not show the beauty but...I love love love this!

 Back deck...dancing, games, eating....Whatever:)

Hangin out around the bon fire and playing...
chubby bunny, hehehe~

 Photo area Shots~

Another game.
The oreo game.
Can you guess what you do?
Look at the pictures and see if you can figure it out.

another game...I can't remember the name to this one.
Goal: Get empty cans which are stacked in a pyramid off table by
shooting a rubber band at it.
Sounds easy enough...Not so much:)

More games:)

WOW!!! This one was soooo fun to watch!!!

The girls that gave this gift could not wait for Hannah to open it!
I wonder why:)

 TEAM CAPTAINS!

Before cake I brought everyone inside to watch a short picture
video of our young lady of the hour.
Below you'll find the clip.
If you're family or friend...then I know you'll want to watch this
very touching video.
I did not get everyone in it...it was mainly for her friends...
I did miss some friends too:| BUT as I said I was a bit rushed.
I was working on uploading them in advanced but stopped
and then had 2 days to put the movie together.

***MOVIE COMING SOON!***

Hannah works very hard at being better everyday.
This is something we as a family strive to be...better everyday.
Somedays we aren't but somedays we are able to see what we can do to
be better.
We see if we take the Proverbs to heart and do what it says we would be better.
We see if we manage our time we will be better because we will
have to time to study, play, chores...
I'm so proud of her.
She has her youthfulness about her yet she is very mature for her age
especially in this day of age.
I believe she is what God wants a young lady to be like.
Boys?
That is the big question right...as beautiful as she is.
Many ask me.
She is not boy crazy. Never a boyfriend but guys that are friends:)
Never even asked.  Maybe it's her confident way she carries herself.
Whatever it is.
Her heart is a treasure.
She's not going to give that to just anyone:)
I love that!
