San Antonio 5A school search

My search is thinning.

The one school we were really pushing for might have just

been pushed out of the running.

I guess most people don't have to think about these things.

I have many things that have to fall in place.

First a good sound school.  I know I will be doing some side school 

of my own because...I know me:)

But it still has to be a good school.

It needs to have a good sound football program.

I'm not doing all this to stick him in a...

 a program that is not very strong:)

It needs to be a welcoming school.

On top of all that, we need a large enough home to fit my

family and a side note suite (at least) to house Todd's grand parents.

On top of that, the houses can't be on top of each other.  

Now, Todd has relaxed on that but still can't be 

15 feet from our neighbors house to ours.

We were told about School choice so that we can broaden our search 

AND still put our child into the school of our choice.

BUT the school we want is denying ALL transfer forms.

NOW<

As many 5A school in this town there are...you'd think I'd find

something easy right...WRONG?

For a long time we thought Steele high school...we really like the 

area and really like the people. 

The football program is top notch and the school is good...

But I hear it is way over crowed:/ AND there are no homes

to fit us.

My search continues.

More Friday night lights to sit in the crowds of the school 

we look to send our kids. 

Yes...you read right...kids!

I'm seriously considering sending my 

almost 6'1 Volleyball loving girl next year.

These are the things that weigh my brain these days.

Finding a school, a home, and selling ours here.

Please pray this will be blessed and quick!

Since we ARE doing this I just want to get it done:)

Any suggestions? Smithson Valley? Churchill? Canyon?

There are still a handful still in the running but not for long.

UNWIND:

Many times in my crazy day...and I mean crazy:)...I try to find,

if only for a moment, 

a beautiful piece of silence and breathe through it. 

 I might sound silly but I am non-stop and if I can find just 30 sec...or 30 minutes

to just "be" it does a world of difference.
