How proud CAN a mom be!?
Well, this mom is so super proud! I just HAVE to brag:) I've also decided to start putting in the names of whom I'm speaking of b/c it gets confusing for me, lol. So....to get you up to date...Oldest is Hannah, down from her is Kainah, Levi (only boy) would be next, and last but not least Rebekah is our youngest. Todd is my sweet love and you already know me:) OK, now that is done with, it's time to BRAG!
Hannah has been preparing to take her Essay portion of the Accuplacer test. * It is a Junior College Entry type exam. She past it. Not only did she pass it but she got a 7. The scores range from 1 to 8. 8 being the highest. This girl is 14 yrs old and got 7 on a junior college entry exam! It's better than any other person she's talked to that has taken it. She said she felt God's peace come over her! Praise God! I'm SOOO proud! She has to take another English portion before taking classes so we are still in prayer.
Now to Levi. Well, If you know us you know he is a football talent. If you really know him you know he lives for Jesus. He is a boy in a sinful world. He gets in trouble like the rest of us but listen....
He is the star of the Football team. The only weird home school...oh wait not so weird home school kid:) All the boys look up to him and some even have said they want to be like him when they grow up...lol. I snicker a bit b/c the age range is 1 maybe 2 years but then I thought more about what they were saying. He has confidence. He speaks up for the weak...He lets no one speak in filthy language (if he can help it). He encourages, protects, teaches, and motivates his teammates. He has a great friend on the team that doesn't "do" church. He has grabbed his hands before a meal and prayed with him which in turn the boy followed his lead. This boy wanted the same Bible verse Levi had on his arm band and was so pleased that he went and showed his mom. His mom read it and thought for a moment then said he should read it before going out on the field. Isaiah 41:10 It's a good one!
Yes, he is the QB. Yes he scores lots of TD's. Yes, you can't stop him on defense. He's passionate...he's 110 MPH...but we have told him and he truly believes that this is ALL from the Lord. It was Him who gave Levi this drive, this talent. So, to Him we give the glory. I am a proud momma!
Yes indeed:)
