The Absence of Light

Darkness is the nothing but the absence of light.

When you put darkness in a different perspective 

it still is just the absence of light.

Without God we are all in darkness and unable to see the truth

because there is no light in us 

TO SHINE ON THE TRUTH.

He is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. 

His Spirit living in us helps us read His word and understand the truth.

Whoever worships Him must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

I read someone put it this way once.

As a baseball player who is running the bases, 

if he misses first base,

which is Jesus,

when he reaches home plate,

HE IS OUT,

regardless of how fast he runs or how far he hits the ball.

If you miss Jesus....you miss it all.

And the darkness and the lies will swallow you up.

Resting in His truth and knowing His abundant love is always enough.

Enough in the best of times and in the worst of times.

Enough when the world brings silliness.

Enough when your body fights against you.

He is always enough. 

UNWIND:

My unwind today is knowing Jesus and knowing my kids know Him. 

May whoever is reading this find peace and a way to unwind and 

find joy in their day in knowing they have a Savior.

One who loves them even if they think the whole world doesn't.  

There is one that does.  

His name is Jesus! 

He can give you peace...

He will give you grace that we all don't deserve...

What joy we can have knowing that through our mistakes and imperfections 

we can not lose our place in heaven.
