My friend, the Queen

I've recently posted on my friend, The Queen of Brussels Sprouts
(her blog name you can find her on my side bar),
and how she was fighting for her life.
She is still fighting.
Her fight is now to recover back to her old self.

As the days pass, my dear friend and her family need prayer more then ever.
This is a tragic injury that will take a long time to recover.
I believe Kendra can and will recover but I know she will need the
power of prayer to give her daily strength.

Please keep with me in prayer for her and her sweet family!

WHAT'S GOING ON NOW?
She is amazing everyone at that hospital!
She's using a letter board to communicate and yesterday sat up in bed for 10 min.
The therapists could not believe it.  I'm so proud of her:)
She's now out of ICU and occasionally smiling. This room is better...much better.
Since I'm not there it's hard to put into to word her progress.
GREAT progress!
She's bossing people around (in a good way) with her letter board:)...that's good.
She still needs lots of prayer.

A short piece of her sweet husband's prayer is below...maybe you could pray along with us:)
Please continue to prepare Kendra's body for the inpatient rehab.
We are seeing improvement on the right side, and we won't stop praying until it is fully restored; when she can wield a cast iron frying pan, teach her daughter a flying front snap kick, and gently turn the thin pages of her bible, maybe then I'll stop pestering you.
The neurological and musculoskeletal boot camp that she is about to undertake is daunting,
but met with great success.
She's baffled all her neurologists thus far, please continue to baffle we "professionals".  Lord, I can't think of a word other than:
"Thunderstruck";
with everything I have, please make us all Thunderstruck!

Thank you all for your continued prayer support.
