Prayer~

I became a Christian 17.5 years ago.
I was in the Army....during my specialized training school.
A couple months later Todd and I were baptized 2 weeks before we got
married in a sweet
little Baptist church in Indiana.

I had always been like a sponge to God.
Even in the toughest days growing up I would, for some reason, read this
"easy read" Bible I had once and awhile.
When I did things I knew was wrong I would pray for forgiveness and then punish myself.
I know...It doesn't work that way but I didn't know back then.
Maybe someday I'll write my story.
At least....
What I can remember...
Because....
God has taken the memories, about 70%, of those growing up years.

Once a fresh, new Christian, prayer and forgiveness became a whole new
wonderful, hard, and powerful thing.
Whats a prayer chain?
I was asked to be on one...sounded like a cool idea!
WHAT A COOL IDEA!
The more I prayed and learned about prayer - the more that I might just be one of
these prayer warrior people that these ladies are talking about.

I might not be able to do a lot...but Pray~I can do that!
I find in prayer you refocus.
God shows you that you CAN do more than YOU think.
It's not YOU that can do anything but
through Him ANYTHING is possible.
I'm a perfect example of this:)
Somedays I wish more people knew my story...and knew my heart.
That they could see the heart that God has molded into His image.
Few know...most see the "what" God has done, THANK YOU LORD.
I think is how He likes it.
He moves me to share when the time is right.
I guess my way to help those in need...need of encouragement.

SO

I pray.

My life is filled with prayer.
Covering my husband, my kids, my family.
I pray for those who we have had to close contact...but we still
pray and love them.
I pray for my sick friends, for my healthy friends, for my friends in the mission field.
I pray for my friends that are in the public eye...the spotlight, for those that are trying,
for those that aren't.
And every time I pray it brings me a blessing.
The Lord told us to come to Him in prayer...He said we can do this now that the
veil has been torn...because of sweet Jesus!
So I do.
My chance to talk to the Father of Creation:)

1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

UNWIND:
I encourage you to start praying a little more today.
It WILL help you to unwind more and more each day.
