Forgiveness

A powerful act.

A selfless act.

An act that many may speak of but few can actually do.

Yesterday, I was driving and listening to the Christian Radio Station.

The guy on the radio was talking about forgiveness and taking calls about it also.

The radio announcer kept saying how forgiveness is easy to say but 

sometimes really, really hard to do.

 Then a call came in....

A man spoke about how he has had trouble in the past on forgiveness

but 

has realized that the person he can't seem to forgive has already been 

forgiven by God.

He also spoke about the "Cross".

The caller ended his call by saying, 

"How can I not forgive this person if my mighty God has already forgiven him."

BAMM!

Forgiveness is not for the offender but the offended.

Forgiveness is not a natural thing to us.

It is a thing God has asked us to do.

"Love your enemies"

Forgiveness doesn't mean you put yourself in the line of fire again.

It's dealing with your heart and moving on.

It not letting Satan get a foothold in your life.

It seems to me that people with unforgiveness in their hearts end up making issues 

and drama over silly things that are totally unrelated.

Leave drama for the ARTS...a thing to enjoy...

take it out of your life issues.

Take unforgiveness out of your hearts today.

It will ease your restless soul.
