The Start to My Losing Journey~
As promised, I said I'd post my journey.
Yesterday, I almost did the same ol' thing to get out of my run...busy myself and my time away.
Almost-
I chose to crank up the jams and tie up the laces to a better me.
I thought I might follow the C25K plan.
I couldn't really find a set plan but basically it was take it slow and do a
walk/run workout.
I began with walking briskly to warm up a bit.
Then I started running and decided that, if I still had it in me to run,
I wouldn't stop.
I ran the BIG lap around the neighborhood and felt like I could push on.
So, I continued around another smaller lap and ran backwards down my street to home.
To be completely open I will say that...
I was hard to get going BUT once out there it was easy.
Am I sore?
Not too much...just slightly:)
So there you have it.
My daughter said I probably ran almost 3 miles!
What I'm happy about is I ran for a while.
I happy that it is one step closer to my goal.
My target date is....
My 18th wedding anniversary.
