For Every Action

"While we are free to choose our actions, we are not free to choose the consequences of are actions."
~Stephen R. Convey

I believe this quote is true.

We are free people.

We all have been given a free will.
God loves us that much to give us a free will.
It is up to us on what we do with it.

Do we choose Him or not.

This is the most important choice we have to make in our whole life.

BUT there are many, many other choices
and many ways that we can act upon that shape our lives...
They shape our lives because our actions have consequences.

We can and do choose our actions

but

the consequence of those actions are out of our hands.

They have a lot to do on our choices
which is why living with a “whatev” attitude
will not bring about positive consequences.

Many times re-evaluating our actions is what we should do
or maybe having somebody that cares for you
and wants to help you
sit you down
and show you how your “actions” or choices

need to change

because it’s not going to be a good path down the road.

Sometimes the choices you make are good and honorable.

Sometimes the choices you make are good and honorable

and yet...
hurt your heart
because you had such a

wishful heart

that something better could have been

but you know...

for every action/s

there are consequences

and hard choices have to be made.

Stand in honor.

Make choices that
have consequences that make you stand a

little straighter each day

and that make you hold your head high.

Live the best life you can!

Be better everyday.

Sometimes that means buying a coffee or a lunch for a friend or stranger.

Sometimes that means saying YES to tough request.

 Sometimes....it’s also saying NO.

Saying no and forcing a person to stand in their consequence...

and be the adult they need to be....

Sometimes that can be the best thing or gift you could ever give them,

even if they hate you for it :\

"Acceptance of what has happened is the first step to overcoming the consequences of any misfortune."
~ William James
