25 things that make me happy

*These are not in any specific order

1. Seeing the smiles on my children's faces.

2.Arms that wrap around me and a kiss on my cheek...

just like his daddy does.

3. Little skinny arms that wrap around my waist still

 and a pony tailed head sunk into my belly.

4. Arms and shoulders that now hoover over me to hug but

still want her momma's sweet hugs and kisses.

4. Arms and shoulders the same...another little woman my size, looks 

like me but much more beautiful...that gives not-so-kid like hugs anymore.

5. The smell that is left on my neck and shirt after my love kisses and hugs 

me good bye before leaving for work.

6. Tears of joy...and feeling of worth from a young lady in the family.

7. Watching my independent young adults start to fly but look back once and awhile

to make sure we're still here.

We'll always be here. 

8. When a child has not been very happy because sometimes being "mom" means

being tough... and then that child learns why and is glad mom did what she did.

9. Frogs jumping out of a little boys pocket in the laundry room...

at least once because it makes for a fun story to tell his kids later.

10. When a young lady is told by someone she has interest in that she is pretty...

because a momma knows how that makes a young lady feel.

11. The sight of my son sitting on the back porch with his great-grandpa 

stringing a fishing rod.

12. The sight of my daughter trying to learn knitting from her great-grandma. 

13. The fact that, if I can't find my kids in my house...I should first check 

their great grandparents house because grandma is whom they LOVE to 

hang with.

14. Laughter...anytime.

15. The fact that sometimes I giggle...when teaching, fussing, ordering,...

the fact that sometimes...a giggle just has to come out of me:)

16. The way my love lightly strokes my arm just the way he only knows I love.

17. My love's smile...he does it with his whole face.

18. His beautiful eyes...and the scar that is above one of them because

it reminds me...

19. The fact that my kids all can talk to me deeply.

20. A new found deep sister relationship.

21. My grandma, who is not actually mine but my love's...

I've taken her to be mine...her acceptance and love is so peaceful.

22. Good people that see through those that aren't.

23. An older sibling showing patience to the youngest during school

when I need a break.

24. The gathering of hands before eating.

25.The spirit of our home being God filled.
