Don't be Lazy, Live with Meaning~
LIVE A MEANINGFUL LIFE!
I know, when I am old that you'll find me on a park bench somewhere
watching the world go by.
I have always loved watching people. I tend to do this a lot.
Not to get in their business because I have enough "business"
of my own:)
To watch reactions...you know you can learn so much from an initial reaction.
To watch how people are around different people and if they change
depending on who they are with...that's a biggie!
In the past 10ish months, I've been frustrated on what I've seen and heard.
I've said recently that I believe the Lord has done this for a reason.
The side of me that is seeing the black and white in a person's
character has had many punches to her positive thinker.
(not sure if that made sense, lol)
The sweet side of it is when the Lord brings me a breath of fresh air.
Almost like encouraging me that there are those out there that still
believe the same as you.
I don't think it's hard.
Let Jesus reign over your life, truly-
Love...period-
Don't lie, this one really gets me-
Lift each other up, don't make people feel small-
Don't put filth in your mind, home, or
allow it to come through your TV/radio-
Think of others first-
Show and tell others they have worth-
Look into the heart of a situation, not only the outside of a conflict-
Know that your body is precious and a temple so treat it that way-
Respect your elders, help your elders-
Realize that selfish actions never truly fulfill you but unselfish ones do-
These are just a few.
Sounds simple, I know, but doing these day ofter day when life starts
to beat on you a bit...sometimes they become hard if you are not fully dedicated
to why.
Why?
Simple answer...God told us to. Read the Bible you'll see.
Proverbs speaks a lot about the sluggard..a lazy person.
Not only will laziness hurt you in your job, a tidy house, your school work or
even your sport but in just about every part of your life.
The important parts mentioned above.
As a parent, you can not be lazy...you have to be there for your kids.
You need watch them jump from a rock 25 times,
play water tag, and get up when you've had a long day to see
a bug on the porch.
You also need to punish when needed and be able to
sit on their bed and talk about nothing until they start talking about everything.
Bottom line, your kids have to choose their path in life
but you will help them start on a successful path if you're not lazy.
You don't have to be rich...just not lazy.
I could go on and on.
I think you get the point.
The neat thing is that the Lord brought me some fresh air.
A family...two families really:)
Families with values, boundaries, love, open hearts, manners,
and such beautiful smiling faces.
How I love a smiling face!
UNWIND:
Living a meaningful life takes action.
You definitely can't can't be lazy.
Thank you Lord, for letting me see those,
those I've known for a long time and have just come to know,
that choose NOT to be lazy and live a truly meaningful life!
